Friuli Venezia Giulia always reserves beautiful surprises. This corner of Italy is crossed by an evocative route that starts from Austria and, passing through Slovenia, will take you directly to the Gulf of Trieste. This is the Alpe-Adria-Trail, a 750 km long hiking trail. It consists of 43 stages about 20 km long. It starts from Grossglockner, the highest peak in Austria, and ends in the last eastern strip of Italy, in the charming seaside village of Muggia, near Trieste.
Along the way you will find natural beauties like the Isonzo river and its spring in Slovenia, the Natisone Valleys in Italy and arts towns like Cividale del Friuli, Cormons and Gradisca d'Isonzo, in the name of sustainable, cultural and enogastronimic tourism.
Europalace Hotel, BW Signature Collection by Best Western is the ideal starting point of one of the last stages, the one that will make you discover the Karst and the Adriatic Sea.
